Enablers of Effective Community Paramedicine

Enablers of effective community paramedicine programs include:

(a) the ability to leverage existing resources;

(b) interprofessional collaboration/integrated partnerships;

(c) education/training/mentoring (to facilitate an expanded scope of practice);

(d) supportive structures; and

(e) service monitoring and evaluation.
