Caregiving Strategies (Self-Paced)

The Caregiving Strategies course focuses on improving your skills, knowledge, and confidence as a family member or friend caring for a person living with frailty. Modules are self paced.

Provincial Common Orientation: Foundations in Geriatrics for Interprofessional Teams (Tier 1)

For Health and Social Care Professionals, the Provincial Common Orientation to the Care of Older Adults is core standardized training that serves as foundational support to ongoing workforce development in older persons’ care. This online course is the first part of a two part series, appropriate for most health and social care professionals. Depending on their role, some participants may also wish or need to continue on to Tier 2 - Core Geriatric Knowledge for Interprofessional Teams. Delivered in conjunction with weekly scheduled (synchronous) virtual facilitated sessions (required) over four (4) weeks.

Provincial Common Orientation: Core Geriatric Knowledge for Interprofessional Teams (Tier 2)

For Health and Social Care Professionals, the Provincial Common Orientation to the Care of Older Adults is core standardized training that serves as foundational support to ongoing workforce development in older persons’ care. This online course is the second part of a two part series, appropriate for health and social care professionals who wish to increase knowledge and add depth to content learning in Tier 1 - Foundations in Geriatrics for Interprofessional Teams. Delivered in conjunction with weekly scheduled (synchronous) virtual facilitated sessions (required) over seven (7) weeks.
